As France began to send aircrafts squadrons to the Pacific, one of the small problems they faced was, how will their replace their roundel (De Gaulle didn't want to use just the blue of the normal roundel as it was to similar to the British SEAC, and red was out of the question). The solution: replaced their roundels with a blue Cross de Lorraine.

Instead of having a thin blue cross on a white circle, you would have instead a chubbier cross of lorraine fimibriated white

Continuation of "the Tsar, the Kaiser and the Springtime Revolution" air force roundels.
PSAF roundel.png

Air Force roundel of the Pacific States of America. Originally a Japanese puppet state created after WW2. After 1970 it became independent of Japanese rule. But in 1976 it would dissolve itself as an opposition coalition won an election against the dominant party ruling it. The roundel was based on both US and Japanese roundels.
Pacific Federation AF roundel (1976-1988).png

First roundel of the Pacific Federation used from 1976 to 1988. The number of stars on it (and on the national flag) decreased to three. Pacific Federation was the successor state to the PSA. It was established by the pro-PSA state governments (and Utah) uniting after the dissolution of the PSA. All but three states left by 2016.
Californian AF roundel.png

Roundel of the California Republic. It consists of California, Nevada and Arizona. These three states were the only ones left in the Pacific Federation in 2011. In 2016 it was reformed (and turned from a federal nation to an unitary one). California is considered one of the great powers in the world. Despite being weaker than PSA/PF. California is economically and socially pretty influential.

An old one from the IB shared timeline. These are the "roundels" (war crosses really) of the various members of the Holy Roman Empire. In this timeline, the first german empire continued to this day with independent members having their own units (though in modern time this became increasingly symbolic, all being part of the Imperial Armed Forces)

The Avionese Republic's and Kingdom of Kymria's air force roundels from my Aeroverse industrial fantasy setting.

The Kymrian air force is known as the Royal Flying Host of Kymria (Llu Hedfan Brenhinol o Kymra) and actually has a rather Austro-Hungarian inventory of aeroplanes.

Air forces are still a novel thing in this fictional universe and are not quite at the combat-capable WWI level yet (though they're headed there).

(Basically, Avion is a fantasy Third Republic France and Kymria is a fantasy Wales-meets-Austria-Hungary, all in an early 1900s style setting.)

Ghana Air Force roundel.png

Air Force roundel of the Republic of Ghana, adopted after Ghana's independence from the Britannic Union in 1987. Colours adopted from its flag. Those colours from the coat of arms/badge of the British Gold Coast.

Here is the roundel of a DDR covering all of Germany:

If I can just make a suggestion for Kymria, have the neck of the dragon end in a shape that is more circular and remove the black outline.
