Alternate 60's Scenarios

The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and the Seaboard Air Line Railroad never merge. Both lines stay independent.

Pennsylvania Railroad stays independent.

New York Central Railroad stays independent.

New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad doesn't go bankrupt and stays independent.

Central of Georgia Railway stays independent.

Eller and Warfield

1. In 1964, the Bills drafted Carl Eller and Paul Warfield, but they went on to NFL teams.

In an alternate scenario, they sign with the Bills, and they dominate the AFL even more.

The Bills go to the first Super Bowl against the mighty Packers. They are struggling and trailing, 21-10 at halftime. Then, fate intervenes at the start of the third quarter.

Jack Kemp is knocked out by Willie Davis, and Daryle Lamonica comes in. He leads the Bills to two TD's, a 60-yard pass to Elbert Dubenion, and a 15-yard TD to Warfield with 40 seconds left. Then, Eller sacks Bart Starr, and the Bills pull off the upset.

As a result:

1. Daryle Lamonica stays with Buffalo, and they trade Jack Kemp to Denver. As a result, the Broncos hold onto Willie Brown, and the Raiders don't become a SB team the next year.
2. The Bills go back to the SB the next year, and beat the Cowboys.
3. Vince Lombardi resigns in shame after SB I, and never coaches again. He dies in 1970.
