So today a Holocaust survivor of Auschwitz was talking about his one gripe with the Allies being a lack of them attacking known holocaust facilities and the railways helping the system run.
Suppose the Allies decide to allocate 30-ish percent of their strat bombers to destroying the railways and gas chambers. How many people would they roughly save using the stats we have for the holocaust, using our data on the wider effectiveness of strat bombing.
Also as a minor addendum, what effect would the decrease of attempts/attacks against industrial facilities have on the war?
I suppose just to pretend the ASBs causing this keep things roughly the same, then I suppose calculating it based off each power (US/UK/USSR) to be able to break down if the W-Allies did but not the USSR etc.
Any help on this would be appreciated!
