Allied Special Forces operate inside Germany during the earlier phases of WW2

One more note. France did have a tiny parachute force in 1939-40. Part of that was a small training school. The rest seems to have been some sort of commando company. Its not clear to me exactly what sort of operations they were expected to do. Hypothetically they could have been trained for small recon or 'strike' missions in German territory.

Sure and were killed for their trouble along with over 1000 Czech civilians in retaliation, which is why they never tried it again.

Then during the Slovak uprising the SOE/OSS team that was parachuted in was slaughtered:

Technically they were not killed. They comitted suicide. Actually they tried . Before as well as adterwards there were other Czechoslovak commandos parachuted in Protectorate. However after drop they were changing to civilian cloths.

As to Slovak Uprising. Well yes they were captured and later murdered in KZ lager. But Slovak Uprising was different story. They operated on friendly territory and were captured only when Uprising was defeated. On other side, I believe they organized evacuation of Allied PoW from Slovakia.
