What would be the short-term psychological and geopolitical consequences if the allied forces decisively defeated Germany during the Great War?

I'm thinking they somehow manage to set the frontline at the Rhine (1915-1916), and by the end of the war (1917) a great offensive sees French and British troops pour into the north german plains in full as the disorganized and demoralized German troops flee eastward or surrender. Is Berlin too ASB of a target?

Since the war is overall less devastating for France and more for Germany, I imagine there won't be a war guilt clause, and since Russia probably doesn't surrender, that means no independent east-europe which in turn means there will be none to give posen to so it stays German. Then if the Reds still take over Russia, they will be stronger with east europe.
