I'm sure the question has been discussed before, but, I figured I might as well...
WI Alexander the Great does not die of fever 323 BCE as in OTL. Instead, he survives into old age, or at least long enough for power to pass intact and unopposed to his adult son (by Roxanne), OTL Alexander IV.
The new Alexander IV manages to sire a dynasty that rules for several hundred years--though realistically speaking (IMHO) this would eventually involve the loss of some of the territories of Alexander's original empire (such as Bactria, perhaps some of the Greek states, etc.).
What does everyone think? I'd like to start a discussion and contribution of ideas for a possible TL--with all talk here assuming that such a scenario is possible (i.e. an Alexandrian empire that continues for several hundred years)--no nay sayers allowed
