Alexander III of Scotland lives

I know this has been done before (having just found a thread for it, but thought I'd start a new one, because why not :p)

But yes, say ALexander III does not ride off into that storm in 1286 and emerges the next day alive and well, could this mean the child his wife was carrying emerges safe and alive?

Could there be more children from this union?

Does this prevent Edward I's interest in invading Scotland?

Say Alexander does not go riding into that storm and a few months later his child by Yolande is born a boy, the naming choices for this child are slim between Alexander, William, Malcolm or Kenneth which one would Alexander go for?

Would this also mean a continuation of the golden age of Scottish rule begun under ALexander II?
