Alexander II survives to reform Russia- What does his son do?

With the POD of Alexander II surviving to make Russia a constitution and altogether furthering modernization and political reform, what will his son do? That asshole Alexander III reversed much of what his father did. So if the reforms of Alexander II were carried out, how would he deal with them. Is it possible he'd just have to suck it up and deal with having his power being limited and given to the peasants?

It might depends of when Alexander die along with the reforms themselves.

If the reforms are enacted shortly before his death, then OTL - see also the attempted reforms Louis XV made before his death and which were repealed shortly after.

Else, these reforms might be difficult to roll back, although they might be interpreted in a more autocratic meaning.

With Alexander III might be bit difficult to develope better constitution. In fact Alexander II's constitution wasn't very radical. It would has created Duma but it leave czar still big power. Better could be if Alexander II's oldest son Nikolai would live. He supported strong constitution.

Couldn't it be argued that Alexander III reversed most of his father's reforms because his was assassinated? If his father lived to old age or at least not been assassinated, he might have been more willing to go along with the reforms.

He has always been conservative. He hardly would has ripped off constitution if his father dies from natural causes on old age but he neither brings new reforms.
