Aldo Moro Lives

What if the leader of the Christian Democrats in Italy, Aldo Moro, had not been kidnapped and later killed by the Red Brigade on the eve of the Historic Compromise? Would the coalition between DC and the Italian Communist Party have gone ahead? What would its government have been like, and what would international reaction have been?

Well at least a tentative of a greater coaliation will be sureley tried, for how long? I don't know, a lot of people on both side were not happy of this solution and the american don't think they like very much the greatest communist party of Europe take government position in Italy, but this are the Carter year so there is the possibility that nothing will be done or said.
Unfortunaly the Red Brigade will be along for a lot more, in OTL the Moro assasination was one of the defyning moment of the fight against them, the moment were the great part of left and hard left stopped to help them or simple be sympathetic to them and finally see them for the terrorist that they truly were
