Albert Victor weds Hélène

Prince Albert Victor, The Duke of Clarence and Avondale was the eldest son of the future King Edward VII of England.
Albert Victor liked Princess Hélène of Orleans. She was the daughter of Prince Philippe, Count of Paris.

Suppose Hélène's father consents to her marriage. Hélène becomes an Anglican.
She and Albert Victor marry.
He succeeds his father in 1910 as King Edward VIII. What happens then?

Somehow, I think a good number of the public and politicos would have held it against Helene for having been born Catholic even if she DID convert. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if they had no offspring but the throne would pass over to George and whatever legit kids he'd had so I don't think this would have been one of the most happy or productive reigns.
