Thanks, guys.
About the name: If I am not grossly mistaken, most Pan Am planes had names following the "Clipper Something" convention. On the term Clipper, Wikipedia says:
One of the meanings of clip since the 17th century is "to fly or move quickly", possibly deriving from the sound of wings. The term clipper originally applied to a fast horse and most likely derives from the term clip meaning "speed", as in "going at a good clip". The most famous fast horse was called "Clipper".
Of course airships are terribly slow compared to jet aircraft, but they're still incredibly fast compared to other modes of transportation. And besides - it just wouldn't be a Pan Am aircraft if it wasn't named Clipper.
But I'm open to suggestions if you have any ideas for a naming scheme that works similarily well to the clipper-scheme, but brings across the majestic serenity of airships.
Edit: Clippers:
