Is this stuff TheFakingHoaxer's "12 Space Shuttle Nightmare scenarios"?

some are from that video,an some are from another video of his. ironic thing is i see the vid's on 2 different channels.

OK, in recent years, I've mentioned a few times that I've made a few LEGO mockups of the various planes that appear in my European Crimson Skies TL. And after some hesitation, I've decided to post a few photos of them in this thread.

Mind you, since these are simple lego models, they don't completely fit the intended scale of the plane at all times (though I've struggled to make fighter planes as accurately to scale with each other as possible). Furthermore, these mini-models are far from accurate schematics, partly because of their blocky shapes.

I've stopped making the models long ago and with increasing free time, I'm trying to shift my efforts into proper plane schematics drawing (though I'm quite the n00b when it comes to this area). Sorry for the often low quality of the photos, my older digital camera always had trouble with close-ups and I was pretty unskilled with taking them back then. ;)

Without further ado, I give you the Avia X-224 "Valkyrie", a late 1930s Czech-built flying wing :

At first, I wanted to make a longer post, but imageshack screwed my efforts again, so I'm resorting to attachment posting... The Avia Valkyrie, once again.

And a snapshot from above.

BTW, while the plane is inspired by various inter-war flying wing projects, the ones that influenced it the most are the Lippisch Li P.10, the Messerschmitt Me 329 and the Northrop N9M. It's also meant as a tip-of-the-hat to FASA's original Hughes Firebrand. However, it's smaller and purely a one-seater gunship/scout/bomber interceptor/light bomber - more in line with the real plane designs that inspired it.

The Aero A-570 "Cormorant". Many pilots also call it colloquially "Crow".

It's pretty much what you'd get if you'd try to make a ground attack aircraft with a modern airframe in a dieselpunkish 1930s setting. :p ;)

And a somewhat gloomy shot from above. Notice the hands of the minifig pilot in the cockpit. (I accidentally forgot him there.) :p The glass of the cockpit isn't meant to have a greenish hue, but I didn't have enough "glass cockpit" bits and I just decided the green one looks kind of cool.

As for sources of inspiration, the fuselage was based on scaled-up versions of various classic jet trainer aircraft (mostly of European manufacture). The rest is purely fictional. Comparing it with FASA's CS originals, the closest to this one would apparently be the Whittly & Douglas M210 Raven (this one isn't a canard, though).

Progress supply ship outfited with camera's investagate's the debris field looking for clue's to the Disaster. finds little info of value, attempts to check on the possable recovery of the astronuts bodies are cut short when contact with the Progress is lost, most likely from collision with debris from the shuttle.

....more to come.

The Avia XH-754 "Vulture", the most advanced central European aircraft in my European take on Crimson Skies. Obviously inspired by the various Henschel canard fighter concepts, especially the Henschel Hs.75.

The Vulture's profile from the front. The real plane has a far more thinner and aerodynamic fuselage, it's just the model that looks a bit fatty. As with the two previous planes, the pipe-like protrusion under the wing is actually a small unguided missile launcher. Planes with rocket racks are still popular, but dedicated self-loading wing launchers have come into fashion once they were perfected during the second half of the 1930s.
