With the possible cancellation of Canada's F-35 commitment, it's time to start designing alternatives.

Is that a beaver on the roundel?

There was some recent controversy about the depiction of a maple leaf on the $20 bill. It's a Norway maple leaf. Until they firmly establish the correct species of national leaf emblem, I've decided to go to the default Canadian emblem that everyone accepts without question. With more character than a leaf, the beaver is an ambitious and destructive dam-builder with a winsome toothy smile. As a rodent, it also better represents our usual political orientation.

I was looking for something else when I found this. Prone pilot butterfly tailed floatplane fighter armed with 15 rounds per gun of 5" rocket cannon X2. It may not be awesome but it certainly is surreal. Needs a reclining pilot position.
