US Navy A-10N "SeaHog" deployed from USS Enterprise (CVN-65), circa 1982. The squadron, VFA-103 ("Jolly Rogers"), had transitioned from F-14 Tomcats just a year prior.

The A-10N SeaHog proved to be more popular with the USMC where it found a ground-support role:

Disassemble it and re-assemble the thing in land - duh.
Or just made a call to some squaddies and they remove the plane - just don't deliver it back to USAF.

    Quarter it.
Front half goes on the bow.
Wings, with operating engines, go an either side, amidships.
    Empennage goes on the fantail.
