The
Most Serene Republic of Venice is pleased to announce its candidacy to host the
2020 AHFA World Cup.
With
16 world class stadiums distributed throughout the republic, visitors from participating countries will not only be able to witness the
most important sports tournament in the world, but you will also be able to
enjoy all the wonders that the country offers: from the
canals and buildings that breathe history in Venice to the
paradisiacal beaches of Cyprus and Crete, passing through some of the
most popular nightclubs in the Adriatic in Cattaro and Durazzo. Citizens all across the republic are ready to receive fans from all across the world and
make them feel at home.
The
16 venues are distributed between the historical regions of
Domini di Terraferma, Stato da Màr, as well as
the capital, so both teams and spectators will have the opportunity to
travel the length and breadth of the Serenissima. In addition to the remodeling of 4 existing ones,
