AHC Yasuke Becomes Shogun of Japan

Yasuke was a Black man who became a Samurai in Japan.

He was of either Angolan, Mozambiquean, or Ethiopian origin, and arrived in Japan in 1579, who was brought by an Italian Jesuit Alessandro Valigano. He came to the capital in 1581. It is stated that several people were trampled to death trying to get close to Yasuke, due to his skin color.

This got the attention of......

ODA NOBUNAGA, who requested to see Yasuke for himself. He ordered him to be scrubbed and soaped to make sure it was not a fraud. They instantly became friends. He was eventually allowed to enter service of Oda Nobunaga. Oda Nobunaga loved his strength, saying he had the strength of 10 men.

Yasuke was a name bestowed upon him by Oda Nobunaga himself. The public thought Yasuke would even become a lord, but that never happened. He was given the rank of Samurai. In 1582, Oda Nobunaga was attacked and committed Seppuku. Yasuke fought off the enemies bravely, and he escaped the fighting.

He became a servant to his son, Oda Nobutata. He would fight overwhelming odds of soldiers. He was captured, alongside other men, and while they were put to death, Akechi Mitsuhide stated he was not Japanese, and should not be executed.

This was the last known record of Yasuke, but it's thought there were records of a Black gunman.

Now, I had a question of, is it possible to get Yasuke too unify Japan, and become Shogun?? Please forgive me if the thread is strange, I'm not highly educated on the Sengoku Jidai.

Hideyoshi, a peasant was able to do it so it's certainty possible. But I don't think it's likely due to the same reason why Mitsuhide spared him, they did not see him as Japanese.

How about a more realistic goal, such as Yasuke becoming a Daimyō instead (essentially, the first tozama daimyō)? If he were to set about unifying Japan and becoming a Shogun (or, far less implausibly, a descendant of his lineage doing so), that'd be his starting line anyway; unless he's already appointed as a Daimyō by the time that Oda Nobunaga and Oda Nobutata die, and has been as opposed to merely being appointed as their personal servant, bodyguard and weapons bearer, then he'd never have any hope of becoming Shogun. Perhaps if Nobunaga assigns Yasuke, as opposed to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, to lead troops into open battle for the first time at the Battle of Anegawa, and subsequently appoints him Daimyo over Settsu Province in Hideyoshi's stead?

Hideyoshi was never Shogun, actually. The fact that he was peasant was secondary to the fact that he was not descended from Minamoto. Yasuke not only is of the wrong social class but is also a foreigner and is black. I don't think there's a way anyone would accept him as Daimyo in Sengoku Japan, let alone Shogun.
