AHC: World/Continental War using Da Vinci's Weapons

The challenge is to make either global or European continental war mainly fought by weapons designed or inspired by Da Vinci's designs, like the fighting vehicle, the helicopter, the catapult, etc
Some of the designs of course have flaws or deliberate sabotage by Da Vinci himself, so what I mean here is the improved or fixed versions.

It can be used by both sides or just one side of the war (analogous to German wunderwaffen). Who would do it? When would be the best POD for this?

With the power sources and tooling of the era - the adoption of da Vinci machines for actual war was unlikely. With the possible exception of Architonnere - a steam cannon. The states with a little access to saltpeter may find an Architonnere a viable howitzer/mortar for small forts.
