AHC/WI: World War 1 ended up in the draw

It's just as the title says, what happens by any chance of an event, World War 1 ended up in the draw between the Entente and the Central Powers?

It can be a stalemate. How would this impact on the world?

Another possibiliy might be the peace that the Pope proposed in August 1917. If I'm not mistaken, he wanted forces to retreat from occupied areas, all rival claims (like Italy-AH) to be examined and solved, and an independent Poland. AFAIK it wasn't taken seriously by any major country, but maybe that could change somehow.

You could have the Brusilov Offensive be more successful and weaken Austria-Hungary significantly, perhaps to the point where it comes close to collapsing and Germany is the only thing preventing it from falling through puppetization. This, combined with other Allied victories on the Western Front, could convince Germany and Austria-Hungary they're going to lose and sue for peace as American resources begin flowing into France.
