AHC/WI: Successful Revolt of the Three Feudatories

This has been discussed before along the periphery of other subjects, mostly a Ming restoration, but we've never tackled it directly. What would it take for the revolt to succeed (and 'success' here can be defined as you see fit, but it most mean a defeat of the Qing in some form or another), and beyond that, what would the short- and long-term implications be?

I've often covered this in Ivangorod Prosperous, but I'll give it a try again. The Revolt of the Three Feudatories occured when anti-Manchu sentiment was kinda high. You have various Ming loyalists vying to restore the Ming Dynasty and you also have a couple of Mongolian tribes like the Dzhungars and Khalka Mongols thrown into the mix as well. If the revolt was successful, then chances are that the Qing would have died an early death. but it could also invite Russia to enroach Mongolian, Manchurian and Chinese territories a tad too early.

Earlier Russian expansion into Manchuria, Korea and Japan might be a plausibility, though this may result in a bigger Russian presence in the Pacific.
