AHC WI: Saint Augustine of Hippo less influential in Christianity

What would be required for Saint Augustine's ideas to be less prominent in the wider Christian community. If so what would modern day Christianity look like in terms of beliefs and theology.

Note: This challenge can also be completed at points outside of Augustine's life. For example having a movement that rejects some of Saint Augustine's various teachings become a mainstream group within Christianity would fulfill this challenge. Having some of his ideas fall out of use after his death or at some other point in history would also fulfill the challenge and, of course, having him not convert to Christianity would fulfill the challenge.

Mmm...St Augustine is the better exemple of Latin Christianity distinguished as such.
Without his influence, I wonder how deep (while still existing, for cultural and political reasons) the division between Latin and Greek churches would be present ITTL.

Of course, other scholars were present, and could replace him, but I'm not sure you'll find that influential position IATL. Maybe a more divised Latin Christianity, as in modern Orthodoxy?
Less by a lack of doctrinal standard, that were mainstream during his time, than the lack of unified corpus where Augustinian works managed to have an holistic take on Christianity.

St Jerome is probably still going to have a large impact, replacing most of Augustine presence in Latin churches (on which they had similar views), but I think Greek theologians may have an easier time being known in Latin Christianity.
