AHC/WI: RFK at least Vice President in 1960

By my calculations he would have been 35 and some change by November so...

Assuming both of his star older brothers die in WWII, Bobby's got a lot of growing up to do fast to please his domineering father. Shouldn't be too difficult for him, however, as Bobby's an intelligent, resourceful, overall good guy. Therefore, any worries about his public speaking should be eliminated by the years he has as the head brother.

Your challenge is to present a scenario throughout the remainder of the forties and throughout the fifties to make Robert Francis Kennedy at least Veep in 1960 on either ticket and provide us all with the results of this, both historically and personally.

Super platinum fairy dust bonus points with cherry and sugar on top if he's POTUS either then or after the death of the president with whom he was on the ticket. (Plus description of the circumstances and effects.)

Thanks.

Well it's pretty much impossible to reach your goal since he would not be old enough to run for House until 1950 or senate until 1956.

You could make an older RFK President by 1960 if he gets the VP nod in 56 after two Dewey terms and then President Stevenson dies.

But they are very very unlikely to nominate a VP who would not be able to serve as President.

The crazy that wanted to murder John Kennedy before he took office succeeds before the electoral vote, and the deal is LBJ President and RFK Vp
