AHC/WI/PC: Israeli-Arab Thaw

Can Israeli and Arab relations improve somehow to become friendly and still have Israel exist of course? Like move on from their hostilities and be able to cooperate and live like good neighbors?

It's sort of hard, particularly because any sort of Arab united front that ever existed facing Israel (not to mention other issues) was and is mostly theoretical. However, the history of the Arab-Zionist conflict is full of "missed opportunites" where the hardliners consistently had their way, leading to its current intractable nature. This had not to be so.
You can probably manage to get Israel getting along better with some Arab states while staying hostile to others for longer, until everyone accepts the fait accompli that Israel is there to stay.
It would help if Israel didn't devise policies that turned the fate of the Palestinians into a permanent running sore, particularly avoiding occupation in the West Bank.
A possibility is the creation of a binational state from the start, although at the time of the creation of Israel, very few people who mattered liked the idea, on both sides.
Israel should make some hard concessions for any thaw to work. These depend on the exact circumstances, but won't be easy. At recurring times, Israeli governments opted for highly inflammatory discourse and acts which ruined a lot of potential room to improve relations, while many Arab regimes found inflammatory rhetoric and at least token support to Palestianian armed struggle to be politically very useful.

Could Communism be a factor in causing the thaw? Either a communist Israel has friendlier relations with several socialist/Communist Arab states or anti communism causes Saudi Arabia and Jordan to reduce their rheotic against Israel if Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Iraq and Sudan really go communist due to their monarchies, pro western foreign policy and conservatism, Now, it is quite hard to believe, but there's a 1 percent chance of occurring.

China and the USSR are communist and they didn't really get along well....
