AHC/WI: More successful Canaanism movement

Canaanism was a movement/ideology in the 1940s which sought to create a united Semitic/Canaanite/Hebrew identity among the Jews and the Arabs of Palestine, seperate from religion. Despite its popularity it wasn't especially successful at this, as you may be able to gather from the current Israel situation. So your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to create a timeline in which Canaanism was more successful than in OTL and then explore what effects this would have.

Given the movement's origins in Italian Fascism and similar Far-Right movements, I would guess that a No Nazis TL would probably be the best for this, although some sort of bizzare Axis victory TL where the Lehi form a "united Israel" would be kind of entertaining - ASB-ish, but entertaining.

Aren't the Hebrews and Canaanites both Semitic?
Canaanites = ancient, non-Jewish people who inhaited the Levant.
Hebrews = the original Jewish people.

Both of them, along with the Arabs and a couple other ethnic groups in the ME, are Semitic yes.

I believe @Hrvatskiwi had them succeed. I can't remember the details, but I believe it involved a multinational Palestine that gets overthrown in a military coup just in time to take part in the Suez Crisis.

I was kinda handwavy in Stars & Sickles when I had the Canaanite movement succeed, admittedly, but the prerequisites for a Canaanite Israel is basically:

-A failure of the more radical Zionist factions
-Less immigration from Europe to Palestine (limits the essentially Ashkenazi character of the Jewish state)
-Preferably a few years of Arab rule with Jews as a 'privileged minority', under the Nashashibis rather than the Grand Mufti and his ilk.
