Ben-Gurion was an avowed Leftist but he treated the Communist Maki with almost as much derision as he did the almost brownshirt leaning Herut. So you would need the Communists to get in power somehow for this to happen. Perhaps have either a Communist coup against the fledgling Israeli government in the late 40s or have Zionist leadership not as allergic to the Communists as they were OTL.
If the Communists get into government in Israel, American support will be hard to come by.
As for American support of the Arabs, you'd need them to not be so friendly with the Soviets. Perhaps the Soviets neglect the region entirely, and the US uses that as a way to get friendlier petroleum contracts from the Arab governments.
As for Jewish Americans, you'd need for them to be more openly associated with the Communists for their influence to recede. The Rosenbergs were seen by some in the JBS as only two of many Communist Jewish agents in the US, and for those views to be more mainstream, you'd need Jewish politicians to deviate from the Liberal orthodoxy and openly form Social Democratic Parties or Movements friendly to the Soviet Union.
