AHC/WI: Instead of Trail of Tears, a voluntary, westward Trail of Conquest

Instead of the Cherokee being force-marched, they make the trip themselves as a trail of westward conquest.

According to Wikipedia, Jackson only forcibly removed 46,000 Cherokee from the southeastern portion of the U.S. by the end of the forced relocation. Assuming this takes place in the same timeframe and they're under a unified government without inter-tribal warfare, at most they'd only be able to muster about 10,000 more people than the American Army that was used to take the Southwest, Texas and Mexico in the Mexican-American War...and that's not counting militia. So it's safe to say any progress they make during that timeframe would be erased by 1847/1848, especially if they put up any kind of resistance, as by that time the entire American military had been mobilized.

It doesn't have to happen in the 1830s/40s, it could happen earlier. It could also happen in the 1830s/40s but have a much earlier POD.

Only requirement is that the Cherokee are involved and they conquer a long way westward.
