AHC/WI: Hashemites More Successful

The Hashemites currently rule Jordan, but were originally from Hejaz. They had to flee the country after the Sauds from Najd defeated them to create modern Saudi Arabia. The Hashemites came to rule Syria and Iraq following their exile, but were deposed as well.

What if things had gone differently and the Hashemites had maintained control over Hejaz, or possibly even defeated the Sauds in Najd and unified Arabia under themselves? Alternatively, what if the Syrian and/or Iraqi branches had maintained power?

If Hussein had been able to prevail over the Sauds and even reverse conquer Najd then the Middle East, at least the central part, practically becomes a Hashemite family business. IIRC the original plan was for Ali to inherit Hejaz - possibly including Arabia here, Faisal to get Syria, Abdullah to receive Iraq, with Zeid left over so he might installed in Transjordan if it was still detached from Palestine - although T.E. Lawrence apparently suggested in 1918 that he become king of Syria - as a family reward to also get something.
