At their peak, both the British and the French had colonies in the Middle East and the Levant. So in this AHC/WI,what if British and French start building up settlements in the Middle East and parts of North Africa with Mediterranean climate which everyone loves and plenty of strategic resources from connectivity to Oil. So you could have Settler colonies of their respective Empire countries in these lands. They would build up new cities and townships and settle there. If not a total majority, they could form somewhere around 45-50% of the population in these countries. Israel still is given as a Jewish state after WW2 and probably a bit bigger and it comes in the same region where it is today but only has a friendly and a well integrated large minority of British people around 15-20%. The countries where settler colonies would be built would be in Iraq,Jordan,Lebanon,Syria,Egypt,Yemen and small parts of Palestine which later becomes Israel. So how could such a World turn out in the late 20th and 21st century? The core settlements would be done separately from the cities inhabited by natives. They would be advanced and planned settlements. In the cosmopolitan centers like Jerusalem,Damascus,Tel Aviv,Sana'a,Aden,Beirut,Aleppo, etc you could see a large minority and then after the settlements get large enough, you could see a large minority of natives there. The native civilians are treated well and nobody would be harmed. So again, how would the whole world be in the late 20th and 21st centuries?
