AHC WI:Brest-Litovsk east status quo west

As said in the title: How do you do a Brest-Litovsk peace in the east and status quo in the west end to world war 1.

And what would the world look in the decades to follow.

Well, you need to prevent the American intervention for certain, but the main problem is that B-L isn't on the cards at all until the Russian military collapse in 1917, but if you keep the Americans out of the war a late CP victory becomes a distinct possibility.

You'd probably need something like a massive push back of the western front concurrent with B-L so that the Germans decide to quit while they're ahead and push for status quo in the west. If France would accept that is another matter though.

Either way, the colonies get lost, but I presume you're talking about a retention of Alsace-Lorraine.
