AHC/WI: Andrew Jackson never President, but becomes a Supreme Court Justice?

Jackson actually did serve on the Tennessee Supreme Court (1798-1804) after his short stints as Rep and Senator (each lasting less then a year each). What would Justice Jackson's judicial policy be on the court? Would he still favor a small Federal Government and strong Presidency? That all depends on how he gets there and when (maybe appointed by Adams, in a partnership I once discussed).

Thoughts?
