The objective is to create a point in post-Islamic Egyptian history where the culture has an obsession (or at least fondness) of ancient Egypt and it's culture and achievements, and to discuss it's effects. Something along the lines of what the Safavids did to Persian society perhaps? PoD between 700 and 1400. Would the Coptic language have something to do with it? Maybe it can be on not-so-friendly terms with the rest of the Arab world, leading to isolation?
