So, i've been thinking: what if, sometime during the cold war, the three countries of the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg decide to enter a full political federation? I already heard that such a political manoeuvre would be hard in the interwar period, considering how the belgians were angry at the dutch being neutral in WWI.
