AHC/WI: African Americans Majority of the South By End of Civil War

Have African Americans be a majority in the South with percentages at least 55% to 67% (though higher if you think it's possible) African Americans per state. How would this affect African Americans and the US? Would Reconstruction be easier since African Americans make a majority and are have a numerical advantage against racist idiots? What else would happen? Can African Americans maintain that majority?

EDIT: When I mean more African Americans I mean more as a population meaning their numbers are higher than OTL.

This is actually a good question, because the only thing I recall is that during one of the early slave revolts(1840s~50s) two-thirds of the people of Georgia were African-Americans. Maybe they all moved north because of the failed Reconstruction?
The objective now then would be either industrialising the South and/or a more successful Reconstruction.

Less white yeoman and craftsmen; done.

We'd probably have more successful revolts

Look at the counties and regions that were majority black in the deep South, white folks still showed their asses en masse; can't stop that.

Black majority effectively utilized in industrial era, effective nativist sentiments stop immigrants.

Regardless anti-blackness will still exist fair and wide and hamper black socio-economic mobility so nativism won't be able to be pro-black and may turn against cheaper southern labour.
