AHC: Wars of succession in the XXth century

Your challenge, should you accept it, is to have a true war of succession in a European country after 1900. The main catalyst must be the conflicting claims of two or more individuals to the throne, and each must have some genuine support among the population (i.e. not "Foreign puppet A v. foreign puppet B" or "Uncontested rightful king v. foreign puppet".) That is not to say one of the claimants cannot already be king of another country, and use its resources to further his endeavour. The conflict need not be called "War of the [demonym] Succession".
PoD must be after the Treaty of Ryswyck. The later the the better.

War of the Hungarian Succession. There were some issues when Franz Ferdinand married as morganatic marriages didn't exist in Hungarian law: hence his children might theoretically succeed in Hungary. Of course, they gave up these rights, but say we have a longer belle epoque and Franz Ferdinand becomes Emperor, Hungarian separatists may foist up one of Franz's sons over the Emperor Karl.
