A Slavic population living in southeastern Brandenburg, eastern Saxony, western Lower Silesia, and Liberec Region. The Sorbs are also known as Lusatians and Wends. IOTL most of them are assimilated by Germans, and today there are only 80000 of them left.

Kingdom of Bohemia controlled Upper Lusatia between XIth and XIIIth century, and whole Lusatia for some time in XIVth and XVth century. Bohemia lost part of it in 1415 and the rest in 1635 (in west to Saxony). So all you need is to make Bohemia keep Lusatia in XVIIth century.

Maybe if Gottschalk's Obotrite kingdom had survived and eventually engulfed the Sorbs too.... though that would be a Obotrite wank not a Sorb wank so nevermind.

I think that the Sorbs and Wends could have easily established a christian kingdom in roughly what would later become the German Democratic Republic. They would just need to unify and accept Christianity before people like Albrecht the bear conquer Brandenburg

Interesting if Medival Wendish people in now German speaking territory could become a Western Slavic dominion like Poles and Czechs. By the way Sorbs sounds a lot like Serbs.

Sorbs do call themselves Serby (lit. Serbs) after all. There is also a theory that modern Serbs migrated from Lusatia.

Well, half the GDR, specifically the half east of the Elbe, plus possibly Holstein.
