AHC: Wank Piasts

Piasts were a promising dynasty, who (because of various circumstanses) didn't achieve comparable level of success as Habsburgs or even Jagiellons. How to change it? I think that a idea could be Henry III of Głogów dying earlier. Than Henry V the Fat would have a lot of Lower Silesia under his yoke and his son, Boleslaus was married to Margaret, the elder (than Elizabeth, IOTL wife of John of Luxembourg) daughter of Wenceslas II. Controlling almost whole Lower Silesia he'd stand a chance of claiming Poland for himself (IOTL he conquered Kalisz for some time) and perhaps could be invited on Czech trone by noble oppositon instead of Rudolph III. It would mean that Elizabeth of Cuyavia would not marry Charles Robert, who might die childlessly. It'd be opportunity for Piasts to claim Hungary also, but during the midtime we have Galizia. Silesian Piasts could still claim it, because Wenceslas's mother was Kunigunde of Halych. They have no external problems (like Władysław the Elbow-High IOTL) so they could conquer whole entirety of Galizia without need for making pacts with Hungary (pacts with Czechs aren't as dangerous, because Czechs couldn't claim Red Ruthenia for themselves). Lithuania would be an object of crusades made by Bohemian-Polish-Teutonic joint forces and likely ally for Hungary. This can be borderline ASB, but I enjoy any other idea for Piast-wank! @Jan Olbracht @kasumigenx @Kellan Sullivan

What about Boleslaus marrying Elizabeth Richeza instead.

What about some later POD-Jogaila has no surviving children, in addition all his full brothers predeceased him, thus he tries to make his Mazovian nephew Siemowit V his heir? Then Siemowit or his son is invited by Hungarians to take their throne after death of Albert Habsburg (but is smarter than Vladislaus of Varna and is not killed during failed crusade).

I think I found a way to get rid of the Luxembourgs have Elizabeth of Bohemia marry one of the elder sons of Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh and have Anne of Bohemia consolidate rule in Bohemia with her husband due to the arranged marriage by Anna for Elizabeth.

Daughters of John of Luxembourg was proposed to Casimir III twice. Once John resigned from match after his sons were born (so he was unwilling to renounce his claims to the Polish throne anymore-that was originally idea behind that marriage) and second time marriage has not happened, because another daughter of John (Margaret) died before planned marriage.

Better be it his son. Hungary wasn't easy to manage, and he could lose Lithuania to Kęstutis family.

Piasts were too weak at that point. It could work in absence of any Bohemian involvement in Poland and with Vladislaus the Elbow-High unifying the country much earlier. Than he could meddle in Bohemia.

The thing is Anne of Bohemia and Henry of Carinthia would benefit in marrying her sister Elizabeth to the son of Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh and it gives her an alliance against the Lower Silesians and Habsburgs who want to rule Bohemia.

But Henry would need to keep the throne first to pass it to the descendants of Władysław jr. and Elisabeth of Bohemia. And we can see Luxembourg never getting prominence due to Albert I never being murdered.

The prospective husband of Elizabeth here would be Stephen of Poland who is roughly the same age as John of Bohemia, I think Wladyslaw would need to give some military reinforcements for Anna against the Silesians and the Habsburgs, this would mean that Bohemia would be under the Carinthian dynasty if Anna and Henry have kids, if Anna is barren, the throne passes to Stephen and Elizabeth.

Anna was barren. It was proven IOTL. But Henry could try to crown his own daughter, Margaret Maultasch.

But Anna of Bohemia would live longer and Margaret Maultasch would not be born, since Maultasch is the daughter of another wife of Henry of Carinthia.
