AHC: Valois Austria and Hungary

IDK about archdukes of Austria - that seems to have been restricted to the male-line of the house of Hapsburg (we're not gonna discuss how among their styles until the 19th century, the Spanish Bourbons and their ilk included 'archduke of Austria' among their list of titles).

As to king of Hungary - that's relatively easy. Louis de Valois, duc d'Orléans (the same one who gave the Valois the claim to Milan by so kindly marrying Valentina Visconti) was betrothed to Princess Catherine of Anjou (the eldest daughter of the King of Hungary & Poland). The fact that Hungarian and French aristocracy recognized two different popes made matters somewhat more complicated. But Catherine died, and the idea was never ressurected to marry either Maria or Jadwyga (her sisters, and queen of Hungary and queen of Poland respectively) to Louis.

Marry Louis to Maria, give her a slightly better track record with kids et voila Valois kings of Hungary.
