AHC: The Rise and Fall of the Great Suri Empire:

During the reign of Humayun, the Mughal Empire almost turned into a one-man show, due to the success of Sher Khan/Sher Shah Suri. The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to have Humayun's attempt to recreate the Mughal Empire fail, with the result that the Suris become the unifying force of northern India instead of the Mughals. What, if anything, would change from this?

Shershah Suri who overthrew Humayun and captured the Throne of Delhi lived only for five years after his victory.Even in this short period of five years he established himself as an able administrator. If an accidental firing of a gun had not cut his life short and had he lived longer, the Mughals would not have got a chance to make a comeback. In that event, the history of Mughal Rule in India would have been the history of a small principality around Delhi for just fourteen years.
