AHC:The relations between Catalans and Aragonese is like Rohingya and Arakanese

From what I have read Catalans are part descendants of Llemosins or Occitan immigrants/settlers in Reconquista and their language is a sister of Modern Occitan which might be used in a tension between the Aragonese and Catalans, in the reconquista is it possible for the Aragonese and Catalans to have a Rohingya-Arakanese like relationship.

I really see some weird parallelisms between Catalans and Rohingya that is why I am interested in this topic.

The Catalans would need to be a much, much smaller proportion of the population for this to be the case. The Rohingya are a small minority even in Arakan.

Like Valencia being Aragonese rather than Catalan?

Currently, the population of Rakhine State is about 3.12 million, with about approximately 400,000 Rohingya remaining, or about 12.83%. However, the Rohingya population had previously been as high as 1 to 1.3 million (so, roughly 1/4 of the population).

Taking the Kingdom of Aragon as being equivalent to the autonomous communities of Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands, the modern population would be about 14.89 million. Catalonia's population is about 7.52 million, or about half of the population (along with a good chunk of its economy).

Plus, the kingdom of Aragon was decentralised - each state had its own Cortes, and its own customs and laws. Rakhine State is one province within Myanmar.

The better equivalent (in terms of population, anyway) would be the Aragonese within Aragon - approximately 1.31 million, or about 8.8%.

Basically, treat the Catalans like the Rohingya and you don't get a migration crisis - you get a civil war. The Catalans invite either a local noble (or maybe a member of some other royal house - there are plenty of both) to be their ruler, and they break ties with Aragon.
