AHC: The Oder-Seine Line, or Fun With Spellcheck

I wanted to mention the Oder-Neisse Line. Spellcheck said it was wrong, and suggested:
The last, like the correctly spelled "Oder-Neisse," is a pair of rivers.

Challenge: Contrive a scenario involving the "Oder-Seine Line." Or, have many Japanese emigrate to the Oder region. The prize: Modernness. I can't offer dinner at a sushi restaurant in Frankfurt an der Oder or Wrocław... but there are links to two well-reviewed ones. (No guarantees of quality or Oder-Nisei ownership.)

Super lazy reply but something something different WW2 situation in 1944 leads to Nazi Germany defending Paris against the Allies along the Seine to the west and the Oder against the Soviets to the east. Somehow they decide to fortify the two rivers, and the two lines of fortifications gets dubbed the "Oder and Seine defensive lines." Allies and Soviets end up attacking said defensive lines around the same time, leading to references to battles along the "Oder-Seine lines" fairly common.

The Holy Roman Empire decides to expand west instead of east, leaving its borders on the Seine and the Oder.
