AHC The Great Jihad Succeeds

On November 14, Sultan Mehmed V declared a Jihad against Britan, France, Russia, and the Ententes Muslim subjects to rise up against their rulers in the name of Islam. It was the last time a figure with the authority to delcare Jihad did. It was releatively useless, and only a few actually took up arms.

But What if the Jihad of Mehmed V of the Ottoman Empire was the most successful it could possibly be?

Without involving Asb, what is the most realistic, most devestating, and most effective Jihad possible in it's November 14 announcement.

Jihad declaration was a pure formality 14 November 1914, because Russia already declared war to Ottoman empire 2 November 1914, with immediate heavy fighting. You need to cancel Russian declaration of war to have any effect of jihad declaration.

Could Jihad be declared before Russian declaration of war?

Could Jihad be declared before Russian declaration of war?
Theoretically yes. IOTL, war turned in the catastrophic Ottoman defeat within 10 days, even before jihad declaration, resulting in much of caution of Ottoman subjects and muslims in general.
Earlier jihad declaration may result in more cautious Russian stance, and may be less problems with Armenian raids on supply lines. Not much more - strategic position of ottomans/muslims can be described only as "dire" in late 1914, and it was well understood even by hardcore fanatics.
