AHC the Confederacy wins the American Civil War

I've heard Kentucky joining would be enough to tip the scales. Given several of kentucky's resources. It's location near the Ohio River, and the fact it would give the confederacy more defensive depth.

No. Look at the numbers. The South would face a population three times as big that has control over the seas.

The South has two basic ways to win the war:

convince the Northern public that the war is unwinnable.

If the South did X they would not have won. Without outside intervention, their position was untenable. Even with the public convinced the war is unwinnable, the union leadership (which probably went to Philadelphia after a hypothetical loss of DC) should be capable of basic math.
