AHC: The American Dynasty

Your challenge is, should you choose to accept it, is to establish a royal line in another country that lasts to this day decended from an American outside of the USA. POD is 1776, bonus points if the USA develops as OTL (or damn close!) and a cookie if the American King and his/her decendants rule over a major nation.

Edward VIII remains King, marries Wallace Simpson; their children and heirs hold American citizenship.

i think parliment would make wallis (depending how the empire and british accept them) give up her citezenship or at least make it so the kids are solely british, seeing as they cant be allowed to be drawn into any political problems that would entail with dual citezenship (like what happend with my uncle and italy...being he had both british and itlian citezenship he couldve being pulled into military service), being that their gonna be the british monarchs in the future

I don't know-I'm not sure if Prince Phillip was forced to give up Greek citizenship, and of course the Royal Family's been either German or Scottish for centuries...

Like in the OTL, many Tories escape to Canada. However, now, the British/Canadians can't tell the difference between Tories and Patriots. They focus on keeping the Americans out, trapping the Tories already there. Inside, they cannot return to the US once the war is over, so they establish America communities inside. When the war ends, Benedict Arnold and his followers travel north to escape capture. Establishing their own, British-style communities, They exist in secret for a hundred years, unknown to both the American and Canadian governments. During the War of 1812, the American communities are discovered by the British, and some of them leave for the UK. One of the women marries Prince George IV. However, she leaves two years later and stops in America, where she gives birth to Prince "George V"(working name). When George turns 18 or so, his father, King George IV dies, and George inherits the throne. The US still develops normally.

1803: Jerome Bonaparte marries Elizabeth Patterson of Baltimore
1803-1804: Napoleon I is unhappy with the marriage, annulling it himself (since the Pope refuses). But Jerome is adamant that he will not put Elizabeth aside, and Napoleon eventually relents and admits them.
1805: Birth of Jerome Napoleon Bonaparte, son of Jerome and Elizabeth.
I think its unlikely that Napoleon would give Westphalia to Jerome given the tiff over Elizabeth; he'll likely hold a grudge similar to Lucien.
1812: Butterflies result in Napoleon deciding not to invade Russia, but choosing instead to consolidate his empire.
1812-20: Consolidation. The British make peace, with no prospect of overthrowing Napoleon. Napoleon has to make concessions in Iberia; withdraws from Portugal and Spain, except for the departments that were annexed to France, which instead become the new Kingdom of Catalonia for Joseph.
1821: Death of Napoleon I. His son, Napoleon II is crowned but is only 11.
1823: Jerome Napoleon Bonaparte, age 18, marries Crown Princess Zenaide of Catalonia, daughter of King Jerome (not impossible, she did marry Lucien's son in reality, albeit well after Waterloo; perhaps Jerome Napoleon is a favorite of Napoleon II, since Jerome Napoleon is likely to be raised in Paris, unlike his other cousins who are raised in foreign capitals).
1844: Death of Jerome, King of Catalonia. He is succeeded by King Jerome and Queen Zenaide.

Their descendants reign in Catalonia, which remains a part of the French sphere, initially as a vassal and later as an historic ally. Over time, in part due to government encouragement, there is a strong sense of Catalonian identity, so there is little impetus within the country to reunify with Spain.

A senior member of the Hawaiian royal family marries a member of one of the American settler families there, and subsequently manages to acquire the Hawaiian throne. They manage to get Hawaii turned into an American protectorate, and the US government keeps to the treaty's terms and so the islands remain a monarchy and are never actually incorporated into the USA. Eventually, at some point between 1960 & 2000, the kingdom is granted full independence once again.

The real challenge will be dynasty descended in male line from American.
What about hypothetical american Napoleon's marshal, ersatz of Bernadotte? Let's say impressed by french revolution he moved to France, being capable commander, at time of Napoleon he is advanced to rank of marshal, and later Swedes proposed him crown, he accepted offert.

Well, a lot of American whalers spent long periods in NZ prior to British occupation, along with whalers of many European nations. Many of those took local women as wives and had children. IIRC some of those women were part of chiefly or paramount families, so their descendants could be as close as royalty as the Maori would get
