AHC: The Allies win World War II, but the Holocaust's significance is diminished

The Holocaust is rightly considered as one of the worst crimes against humanity in human history with over six million Jews officially recognized as being murdered, along with other so-called 'undesirables'-homosexuals, gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.

We give it so much significance due to the vast scale of the extermination program, the fact that this was the first example of industrialized mass murder and that this was intended to exterminate entire groups of people, due to a government believing they had no right to exist. The crimes of the Holocaust gave birth to the modern cause of human rights.

In some Nazi victory timelines, the Holocaust receives no significance, because it is often overshadowed by the other plans the Nazis had up their sleeves for when they won the war such as Generalplan Ost.

But I want to turn that trope on it's head. What would it take for the Allies to win World War II, but they either ignore the Holocaust or they don't see it as such a big deal? How would this affect the Zionist campaign for a homeland in Palestine and more importantly, how human rights are viewed across the wold?

A closely following WWIII, where German soldiers were needed to help fight the Russians. Soviet atrocities would be elevated to the same level as the Nazis in popular history, making the Holocaust one example of depravity, rather than the biggest.

Do you mind effecting the holocaust itself? If we reduce the survivors there will not be a human voice to the holocaust to be peddled out for propaganda purposes.

Otherwise we would have to elevate either Soviet atrocities or Japanese atrocities or Chinese atrocities to Holocaust level in the eyes of the world.

A nationalist China after ww2 would help get the message of Japanese war crimes out or ww3 would get the message of Soviet crimes out.

It is OTL, just few decades ago. Holocaust was not as significant during first years after ww2 as it is today. There were cases like Holocaust survivor writting during 1950s about his experiences during war commited suicide because his book was ignored.

No Communist takeover of China? With a friendly China, more attention might be paid to the depraved stuff the IJA carried out.

We could have an earlier/faster victory so it never gets to that point, either Fall Glen collapses or 1940 goes somehow much worse(or Winter War is such that the reconstruction of the Red Army goes better, or the M-R pact breaks down with more warning, leading to better Soviet preparations). This way, the Nazis can’t kill as many. This also means quite a few destroyed communities survive.

If Israel never forms, the Holocaust won't be as widely known - there would be no Yad vashem, no Righteous among the Nations, no Eichmann trial.

Or maybe if Israel aligns with the USSR (Stalin dies earlier), the Holocaust might be viewed with less significance in the West. Jews who emphasize its enormity might be accused of double loyalty.

Stalin could implement a similar policy (he was certainly evil enough). That would discourage the Allies from discussing the issue as they would be throwing stones from a glass house. It would also give the Nazis a degree of plausible deniability - they could blame Stalin for their own crimes, as many were carried out in the east.
