AHC: Sweden-Muscovy

Re: religion, the Finns and Livonians were basically fine with being ruled by Russia in the Early Modern period.

If Sodermanland gets the throne, we've got westernisation a century earlier than OTL and a huge internecine conflict between the various branches of the House of Vasa. It appears that all of these would be inherited by a surviving Russian branch in the mid-late 1600s presuming minimal butterflies and the Polish Szlaczta being completely oblivious of the basics of politics. Certainly if they elected Wisnio... that guy, then there'd be the mother of all Northern Wars - Deluge II, maybe, exacerbated by the Polish-Ottoman War going on at the same time.

The other relatively easy way is for the future Peter III of Russia's father to inherit Sweden when Charles XII dies. A complication of this is that PIII's accession was predicated upon his rejection of an offer for the Swedish throne. Maybe have an even more one-sided Russo-Swedish War in 1741-3?

Wisnio, that would be Wladyslaw, right?

Religious reforms would definitely be huge if Charles Philip took the Russian crown, which would result in an earlier split between Old Believers and Reformists. We'd be looking at a Ukraine-style Eastern Orthodox Rite if this were to occur.
