AHC:Successful Kalbid Emirate

The dictionary definition along with the pronounciation made it seem like you thought he was just too dumb to get the concept.
Oh, well in that case, I'd like to apologize to ManintheField for insulting you, and to everyone else on the thread for witnessing that. I didn't mean to call anybody stupid, I was just really tired and didn't feel like writing out a definition myself. So once again, I'm sorry and I'll go edit my offensive post right away.

I'm not asking after a definition, but rather about what 'centralize' means in context. What changes do you mean the Kalbid Emir would have to make in his territory in order to 'centralize' his dynasty?

Ah, sorry that I misinterpreted the question as well then. In context, I had meant that it would be better to have the Emirate mostly moving in one direction, with less feuding between the regional governors, and hopefully a stable line of succession. However, as LSCatilina pointed out, this process never occurred in medieval Europe or the Middle East. In addition, he did mention other important factors contributing to the Kalbid Emirate's decline in his response.
