AHC: Strong Post-Franco Anarchism in Spain

In 1937, the CNT/FAI had 1.5 million members. After the fall of Franco's regime, it was formed again but never regained its old force.

Is there a way to make anarchistis movements strong again after 1975?

If we're assuming history happened pretty much as in OTL, then I'm not quite sure. I think Anarchism's popularity faded, a lot, by the mid 20th Century. Particularly in the 60s and 70s - Cold War ideologies generally sidelined Anarchism. It was the clash of the giants, ideologically speaking.

You'd need Anarchists to play a big, loud part in the anti-Franco movements active between '37 and '75. Something to keep them in the hearts and minds of the Spanish people.

I would say that anarchism is still very strong in Spain considering there are thousands of unmarked graves that Franco left filled with the old torch carriers of the movement. One thing might be to avoid the split in the CNT-CGT somehow. The CGT claims to have 60,000 members and represent near to 2 million workers. Without the split there would be more recourse for the CNT-CGT to claim back all the resources the Franco government seized and the current Spanish government has slowly been returning to the trade unions.
