AHC: Stop the spread of European Republicanism

How could European republicanism that spread throughout Europe after the American Revolution up to the 20th century be stopped? Countries that were traditionally republics like Switzerland do not have to be changed to monarchies, but how do we stop France, Russia, Germany, Eastern Europe, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Iceland, Austria, the Balkans etc from all ditching their monarchies so that by the 21st century it is seen worldwide as a popuar European tradition to have a King/Queen.

One possible POD could be the failure of the American Revolution, or maybe butterflying away communism. I know that after Napoleon was ditched, France still went through a period where they had a king before the Franco-Prussian War and even after that there was a pretender that was offered the French throne but refused because of the French tricolour flag, so my thought is that if you keep France as a monarchy then you're gonna stop many of the other European countries from developing republicanism (whether this is true or not)...

Looks like you could probably manage it fairly late on - almost all of Europe was monarchies up to WW1.

If you are being literal, then as people have said, preventing ww1 achieves this.

If you mean in the sense that the monarch is still a significant force in European political life, then that could be a bit more complicated.

Avoid WWI. Before the first World War the only European nations that weren't monarchies were Portugal, France and Switzerland. Hell the 1910 Portuguese revolution could also be avoided. France is more difficult. You would have to either kill the Comte de Chambord before the White Flag crisis or have the national Assembly go "f*&K it!" and restore the monarchy flag and all.

establishing more constitutional monarchy pre-WWI ? upheaval is inevitable in Europe, what needed is when country lose war, in crisis, etc only the monarchs who replaced but monarchy not abandoned.

Eastern Europe is more difficult, there are no "native" dynasty for Finland, Poland, Czech-Slovaks.

increase Monarchy prestige overall is needed, although i don't know how this be achieved. Philosophical Tract about virtue of Monarchy that become popular ? more popularity to Walter Bagehot ? more know-nothing and copperheads to make America more disfunctional ?

You not be need avoid WW1. Just shorter WW1 or victorious CPs help keeping majority of Europe as monarchist.
