For New England, yes. For Boston (or Providence or wherever), I'm sure some volunteers could be found, especially amongst the ilk that went on filibusters.


But you need a fairly decent number to do so. This isn't something you can reasonably do with a couple hundred men.

No, I mean the sort of loud, angry protests that took several years to lead up to the American Revolution, only with representation meaning that New England can and will voice that in Congress first.

I wouldn't say its impossible for it to lead to revolution, but you'd have to be having efforts to solve it through other means deliberately blocked by all means available to the point of it being less "South stays loyal, New England rebels" as "South has usurped control of the government, rest of the country attempts to restore it."
