AHC - South Arabian language dominant in Southern Arabia

Best (meaning here quickest and dirtiest) solution is to butterfly the major Abrahamaic religions and prevent the rise of any universal, natively Arabian religion (outside of) South Arabia. This will probably ensure that South Arabia remains the most politically and religiously dominant region and thus it's language will become the lingua franca rather than the Arabic we know. Have South Arabic expand via trade ties from there.

I'd love to see a successful Post-Sabaean state. Perhaps the Marib Dam isn't damaged and the region doesn't consequently suffer?

Perhaps some Geez language ? Would be interesting, if East African language and South Arabian stay completeley recognizeable.

That is one idea, especially in a scenario where Arabia is linguistically divided by Axum / Ethiopia, Romans / Byzantines and Persians, etc.

Indeed it is too quick and simple. A surviving South Arabian language or more might work in a no or stunted Islam scenario, where much of South Arabia adopts an autochthonous monotheistic religion be it a form of ATL Islam and Rahmanism, etc or a form of Christianity, Judaism, Ebionite, etc that utilizes one or more South Arabian languages.

Perhaps it becomes a maritime nation ala Carthage, and lives on as the lingua franca of the Eastern Indian Ocean
