AHC: Socialist Revolution in USA

With a PoD of early 1932, within the United States, how could there be a revolution in the US? My ideas were the CPUSA works to more effectively build a coalition with the various parties in the USA, mostly works with poor whites and blacks (as minorities were really forgotten during the New Deal), and over time the agitation grows until they're forced to be accepted as a somewhat major faction within the US government, and maybe another crisis occurs and the parties see it as the chance for a coup?

I don't know, I'm not too knowledgeable, so please, give me your ideas. What could the parties have done? What could the government have done wrong?

Huey long doesn't die
FOR dies early...either the assassination attempt succeeds or he dies.some other way.
Garner details the new deal as the new President.
Things get worse.
36 election is 3 way between Long as 3rd party vs Garner and a republican. Have Long win popular vote but lose electoral or have it decided in congress and "stolen" Have unrest rise. police over react to a rally.another year or two of worsening conditions and maybe it boils over

The response to the depression has to be totally mishandled at all points.

One of the single most important things that FDR did was make people feel like the government was actually trying to solve the issue.

Comsider the 1933 Bank Holiday and the accompanying Fireside Chat. This basically in a week stopped the bank runs that had been going on for the last few years. Why? Because FDR managed to convince everyone that their money was safer in a bank than under a mattress. It restored people's trust in the banks. Not only that, FDR helped to prevent banks from failing by providing what was effectively bank insurance. And this was amongst FDR's first acheivements. People started to regain trust that the Government could do something.

For a Revolution to happen in 1932-1950's, this can't happen. This means the Business plot is unlikely to lead to a socialist US. The Socialists would merely be part of the opposition dominated by Left-wing Democrats-Republicans* and Right-Wing Democrats-Republicans who are more loyal to the institutions of the US than some dictator or junta. FDR had restored trust in the government to enough of a degree that he or his successor would be able to expect broad support from the people against the traitorous Tryants. And that is of the plot succeeds. It likely wouldn't.

This means we need the 100 Days to not happen. We need the ineffective response to continue. People need to not regain hope and trust in the system.

*This is only done because other-wise, there would be a shitton of and in that sentence.
